Intervistiamo oggi un bravissimo autore radio e tv, Marco Verdura. Ho conosciuto Marco durante le interviste fatte a Piccolo Caffe’ con i ragazzi di Caterpillar Radio 2. Come sapete, durante il mese di luglio, Radio Rai 2 e’ andata in diretta da Piccolo Caffe’ dal lunedi’ al venerdi’, dando modo ai noi italiani di New York di parlare della nostra esperienza in citta’.

Come autore, Marco ha avuto modo di parlare con decine di italiani qui a New York e cosi’ gli ho chiesto di fare una breve intervista per capire com’era stata la sua esperienza e che impressione si era fatto del “sogno americano” che e’ a me cosi’ caro. Lui dice che esiste ancora, e’ solo un po’ ammaccato…

Ovviamente l’ho portato nel mio regno: LIC – Long Island City. Gli ho fatto fare il mio tour con spiegazione dello sviluppo dell’area dal punto di vista immobiliare (la mia specialita’ ahhaha) e poi via con le domande!

Today we interview a really talented tv and radio author/creator, Marco Verdura. I met Marco when I had my interviews at Piccolo Caffe’ with Caterpillar Radio 2. As you know, during the month of July, Italian radio station Radio Rai 2 was live from NYC at Piccolo Caffe’ every day Monday through Friday, giving a chance to the Italians living in the city to share their experience.

Being one of the authors, Marco had a chance to talk to tens of Italians living here and I was curious to know what his feedback was and if he thought that -based on the stories he heard- the American Dream was still alive. You know how dear this concept is to me! Well, Marco thinks that yes! the American Dream is still alive. It’s just a bit beaten up.

Of course I brought him into my territory: LIC – Long Island City. I gave him my little real estate tour LOL (my specialty!!!) and then the questions started…
