Era da un po’ di giorni che non postavo una bella immagine notturna (di repertorio). Sappiatelo: non c’e’ nulla di più meraviglioso di un tramonto estivo a New York.

Ah si, forse c’e’: l’alba.

Questa foto mi ricorda tantissimo il periodo del mio primo stage. Era il 2006. Era estate, una caldissima estate. Con Massi e Marcao correvamo a destra e a manca per le strade di New York. Di giorno lavoravamo come i matti. Di sera ci si ritrovava da Petita a fare shottini con margarita scandetissima (loro, io facevo finta). Poi ci si dirigeva verso il Meatpacking District. Destinazione Cielo o Marquee. I club più in voga del momento. Io fungevo da lascia passare. Servivano un po’ di ragazze per poter entrare senza problemi nei locali. Una ero io, le altre le trovavamo davanti ai locali… che ridere ragazzi!

It has been a while since I haven’t posted a lovely (repertoir) image of New York City by night. Let me state this clearly: there is nothing more beautiful than a summer sunset in NYC.

Well, maybe there is: a sunrise.

This picture really reminds me of the time of my internship. It was 2006. It was summer. A very hot one. With Massi and Marcao we were running around all the time, browsing the streets of NYC. During the day we would work like crazy people. Super hard.  At night we would meet at Petita‘s and drink cheap margarita shots (they would, I was just pretending!). Then we would head to the Meatpacking District. Our destinations: Cielo & Marquee, two of the coolest clubs in town at the time. They needed me (and other girls whom we would approach right infront of the clubs) to be ble to get in. Women seems to always be necessary in these istances. That was a very good time!
